The plot was designed to accommodate 2 semi separate house, where one would be rented out and the other used by the owner. The house is designed structurally connected at one point due to the plot size, but privacy is still maintained between the 2. As the plot is on a slope the spaces/rooms are on split levels, this also allows the roof design to combine between flat and inclined shapes, thus creating interesting spaces inside the building. Use of lightweight materials are proposed as access to site is difficult, and cut and fill optimized to avoid bringing in landfills to the site.
