The brief was to make rooms that can accommodate up to 8 beds, surrounding a communal space for activities, and organic in design. The design we came up with was basically inspired by the shape of the honeycomb, as bees are very communal in nature. The octagonal grid structures was then combined to form spaces to accommodate each individual functions of the space. Curves and circles is introduced to the more public areas to introduce a more streamlined feel to the more public area.
